- Vision: The vision of Fair Elementary School is to establish an educational foundation that equips students for academic success and prepares them to become productive members and leaders in their communities.
- FES Mission Statement:The mission of Fair Elementary School is to promote student achievement by providing high quality, standards-based instruction in an encouraging environment while supporting their social and emotional development. We make every instructional day count toward student success.
- Fair Elementary School is a PreK-2 SACS accredited public school. It is a part of the Louisville Municipal School System which consists of Fair Elementary, Louisville Elementary, Eiland Middle, Louisville High, Louisville Vocational Center, Nanih Waiya, and Noxapater Schools. It began operation in 1949 and was named for the Fair family in Louisville who donated money to have the school built. The cafeteria and north wing were added in 1952. A new kindergarten wing was erected in 1985, and a new first-grade building was added in 1995.
